Avocados do not contain cholesterol and are high in fibre. In a way they are the perfect food to eat as part of a healthy diet. Avocados are a rich source of potassium which helps to support normal blood pressure and stabilise blood sugar levels.
Avocados tend to be low in carbohydrates and high in protein. They contain vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A and many of the B vitamins. Avocados also contain minerals such as zinc, magnesium and iron. All round, avocados are great!
